New Office

So with a new hire at the church comes transitions. I am nearing a 100% transition from my Kid's involvement to a strictly Teenage and Media focus. Mike (our new hire) is moved nicely into the role of Kid's Director (Pastor Title will come as soon as he finishes his courses and Credentialing Process). My focus will be on Sunday night Bridge Service (youth group) and Wednesday night D-Groups (teen small groups). And also free up time for more work in media for the church including video, audio, website, and all sorts of techie stuff that I naturally am drawn to. The goal is to make our church more cutting edge in the area of current media and technology.

As of recent I have been working on computers for Mike and a dedicated video editing computer. My office seriously looked like a computer graveyard! Pieces laying all over the place. We got a generous donation from a company in the area of 5 desktops ranging in age and power. Of the 5, we will have a desktop for Mike, video editing computer, and possible replace the stadium computer... not sure about that last one yet. And then the other two are really good only for parts, or another desktop if we need one at a later date. Not really more than a word processor.

More new news is I'm moving to a new office. We built some new offices in the area next to my current office. Larry just got power to them today! Danielle and I only have a few touch-ups as far as painting goes. And then the rest is trim-work. Oh and I think a register for heat and cold air return. No big deal I'm told. But I'm going to be moving in soon!

Well as that guy from the news used to say, "And that's the way it was..."
